Salvatore Fiorello is an Italian contemporary artist whose pictorial research has developed between Europe and the United Kingdom, where he has built much of his exhibition and critical career. His work focuses primarily on painting and explores the relationships between image, perception, and visual memory, often referencing urban landscapes and photography.
Over the years, Fiorello has developed a distinctive pictorial language characterized by a strong attention to the structure of the image and the tension between representation and abstraction. His works investigate the transformation of visual reality into a painted surface, creating suspended atmospheres in which architectural elements, urban spaces, and visual fragments intertwine in evocative compositions.
His work has received critical attention in numerous international publications and art magazines. These include Port Magazine (London), Aesthetica Magazine, Art Review, Time Out London, and Contemporary Visual Arts, as well as reviews and articles published in cultural platforms and newspapers such as the BBC, The Birmingham Post, Yorkshire Post, Sheffield Telegraph, ArtMag, and Corridor8.
